Accompanied dear dear for dinner yesterday night as usual..
He wanted to eat sushi so we went to solaris since its the nearest other than hartamas but when we got there, he suddenly said he wanted to try korean food instead. So in the end, we ended up here in Bonga.Frankly speaking, I am not a fan of Korean food because their food just don't appeal to me (no offense) but I figured, no harm trying..

The Inside:

The Menu:

It says that all ingredients are imported but its really disappointing because there're not much to choose from the menu. The pictures and descriptions are just so... not attractive...or maybe its just me. hmmmmm :/
Anyway, not knowing what to eat, we asked the attendants to recommend something.. sadly, they are not very professional because
1. Their English is limited
2. They're not sure what is good in their restaurant
3. They did not inform us what comes with the food we ordered
In the end, we ended up ordering 3 "things":
1. Waggalbi (Marinated Beef)
2. Samgyobsal (Pork Belly)
3. Haemul Pa Jeon (Korean Seafood Pancake)
.................................................Figuring 3 dishes are enough for the 2 of us
Suddenly, to our horror.. the food comes in tray! *mortified looks*
The yellow kuih-like-thingy with chili in the middle of em are kinda nice. hehe, maybe because i love to eat things made out of flour. :P

Actually, these dishes are mainly veges. Some of them taste nice but some of them not. The soup tastes like spicy miso soup. I don't like it.. but dear dear does.
This tastes not bad. But then again, it tastes like those we usually eat also le..
nothing special.
They were like so many of them, we were like how to eat orh.. ._."
They should have informed us that these dishes/entrees come free with the meal we ordered.. then we wouldn't have ordered the pancake.. the pancake looks like its really meant for 3-4 person liddat..at last, we ended up wasting alot of food cos we couldn't finish the entrees.. haiz
The thing which I like most is the Waggalbi. We thought that we could cook ourselves but sadly we were wrong :( .. anyhow, if u ever wanna try this restaurant out, i would recommend this:

If the person who attends to you knows how to cook this perfectly, I'll guarantee u satisfaction.
Next up is the pork belly:

I don't really like it as I'm not a fan of fei chu yuk and also, this is not marinated..no taste wan :x
But dear dear loves fei chu yuk.. so he loves this...

The sauce:

I like the chili one. :D
For desserts, they let you choose between Ais Kacang, Fruits and the last one, i couldn't hear properly but what i heard is "ice coffee" .. wth? -.-"
So we chose Ais Kacang..
Don't really like it.. not nice

Overall, I'd say that this restaurant is so-so lorh.. Maybe my opinion is biased because I don't really like korean food..but still, I trust my taste buds :P
If you don't trust me, u guys can try it out.. I'd rate it 4/10..
One surprising thing about the restaurant is that it is kinda crowded when we went there and they're lots of korean families there. Maybe to them, the food is nice..but yea..welp, different culture, different tastebuds. haha!
This is my receipt..so u can judge the prices by urself and the address is clearly printed on the receipt:

Hate to say it but i don't think i will go back to the restaurant again.
